WHEREAS, the City National Bank in Wichita Falls,. Texas, has deposited in
trust with the First National Bank in Dallas, the sun of $1,900,000.00 in U.S.
Treasury Bonds,.as security for the account of'the City of Wichita Falls, Texas,
evidenced by the First National Bank in Dallas Certificates Nos. 6007 and 67299,
as hereinafter set forth;
Cent. No. 67299, dated 2-15 -57, U.S. 2 1/8% Treasury Bonds of 1960,
due 11- 15-60, No. 1437 $100,000.00
Cert. No. 60597, dated 12- 29 --55, U.S3L 2 1/8% Treasury Bonds of 1960,
due 11-15-60, No. 201 0 $1.,OOOM ea 1,0OO,000.00

WHEREAS, the City National Bank in Wichita Falls, Texas, has requested
release of the above described U.S. Treasury Bonds, and
WHFZMAS, the City National Bank in Wichita Falls, Texas, agrees to
substitute in lieu thereof $1,900,000.00 U.S. 2 1/4% Treasury.Bonds, due 9- 15 -59,
and,
WHEREAS, it appears that sufficient securities have been pledged by the City
National Bank in WichitaFalls, Texas, with the First National Bank in Dallas to
secure the deposits of the: City of WichitaFalls,'Texas;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE TI RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDMMN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS-
THAT the City Clerk be and he is hereb authorized to accept as security
for the City of Wichita Falls, $129002000.00 2 1 /4% U;S, bonds, due 9- 15 -55, and
surrender the above.described bonds as evidenced by Certificates Nos. 60597 and
67299, aggregating the sure of $1 .,900,000,00, now on deposit with the First National
Bank in Dallas,

adopted and passed as read.
