BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS:
THAT due to the deplorable rapid deterioration and almost unusable
condition of runways, etc, at Kell Field Airport due to gross neglect of the
Air Force, the City Attorney be and he is hereby directed to proceed forthwith
with the presentation of claim for breach of contract and/or damages against
the United Mates of America, and particularly, its Air Force, for the sure of
two and a half million dollars ($2,500,000,00) in damages arising out of the
use of the Air Force, of the Municipal Airport, and/or the breach of the obliga-
tions of the Air Force under the joint-use Agreement between the Air Force and
the City of Wichita Falls, of Kell Field.

Chamber of Commerce Aviation Committee, as evidenced by a letter
from Mr , Jerry Vinson, President of such organization, that the
City Attorney be directed to proceed forthwith with the presen-
tation of claim for breach of contract and /or damages against
the United States of America, and particularly , its air force.
