WBEREAS, the City National Bank in Wichita Falls, Texas, Depositornr
of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, has deposited in trust with the First National
bank in Dallas the sum of $700P000-00 in U. S. Treasury Bonds as security for the
account of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, as evidenced by First National Bank in
Dallas Certificate Nos 51076, 51790 and 51877, hereinafter set forth:
Bert No. 51076, dated 1-25-54, U.S. 2j% Treasury Bonds of 1958,
due 12-15-58, Nos. 8890/8891 @ 100M ea 200P000.00
51790, dated 3-11-54, U.S . 20 Treasury Bonds of 1959 -62,
due 6-15-62, Nos 62297/62298 @ 1001M ea 200,000.00
51877, dated 3-22-54, U.S. 241% Treasury Bonds of 1959-62,

and WHEREAS, the City National Bank in Wichita Falls. Texas, has requested
release of the above described Treasury Bonds; and
WHEREAS, the City National Bank in Wichita Falls, Texas, agrees to sub-
stitute in lieu bEereof �`p300,000j00 U.S. Treasury 1-7/8% Notes, due 2-15-59
in exchange for Cert. No. 51877 dated 3/22/54 U.S. 2f% Treas. Bonds aggregating
the sum of $300,000-001 and
WHEREAS, the City National Bank in Wichita Falls, Texas, desires to
withdraw altogether Cert. No 51076 U.S. Q Treasury Bonds, and Cert! No. 51790
U.S. Q Treasury Bonds aggregating the sum of 0400,000.00, and
WHEREAS, it appears that sufficient securities have been pledged by
the City National Bank in Wichita Falls, Texas, with the First National Bank in
Dallas to secure the denosits of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas;
NOR, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY
OF YICHITA FALLS, TEXAS: That
The City Clerk of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, be and he is hereby
authorized to accept as security for the City of Wichita Falls $300,000100 U.S.
Treasury 1-7jg Notes, due 2-15-59, and surrender the above described Treasury
Bonds Cert. No. 51877 due 6-15-62, aggregating the sum of 1300,000.00 now on deposit
with the First National Bank in Dallas.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDZRMEN OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALL51 TEXAS: That
The City Clerk of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, be and he is hereby
authorized to permit the City National Bank in Wichita Falls, Texas, to reduce the
securities pledged vith the First Nationql Bank in Dallas, Texas, in the amount of
1,00,000.00 and surrender the above described Bonds mentioned in Cert. Nos 51076
due-12-15-58 in the amount of $200,000.00, and 51.790 due 6-15-$2, in the amount of
,5200,000.00, aggregating the sum of $4,00,000,00.
