RESOLUTION NO. 16rAIN
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS:
That the Wichita Cab Company and the Cowden Cab Company, who
operate certain taxicabs in the City of Wichita Falls, be allowed to
deposit securities, or building & Loan deposit certificates, or cash,
with the City Clerk of the City of Wichita Falls in the amount of
Ten Thousand ($10,000.00) Dollars, in lieu of Public Liability and
Property Damage insurance on their taxicabs.
Such security to be held by the CityClerk and in the event
that a final judgment is obtained against either Company that is unpaid
for ten (10) days, the City Clerk is authorized to pay such judgment
out of such funds.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the Board of Aldermen this the
22nd day of March, A. D. 1954.
