Res 238 6/8/1953RESOLUTION NO. 238
WHEREAS, Sidney Kring, a resident citizen of the City of Wichita
Falls, has departed this life the 8th day of June, 1953, and
WHEREAS, he has devoted his entire lifetime toward the betterment
of his fellow man, and in honorable service to the Armed Forces of the
United States of America in two world conflicts and has held and received
high honors in such service, and
WHEREAS, his advice and counsel as a citizen and friend have been
of invaluable assistance to the present and prior administrations of this
the governing body of the City, representing the people of Wichita Falls,
and in all such endeavor Sidney Kring has been prompted by the highest motives
without any personal gain or reward;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS:
On behalf of the Mayor and the Members of such Board, individually,
and on behalf of the people of the City of Wichita Falls, That our deepest
sympathy be expressed to the family of Sidney Kring in their bereavement
and in our loss of an outstanding citizen.
The City Clerk is directed to furnish Mrs Kring a copy of this
Resolution, and to deliver a copy to the Press, as well as retaining the
same in our permanent records.
