ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING A ONE-HALF BLOCK LONG ALLEY
IN BLOCK 30 OF THE HINCKLEY SUBDIVISION OF THE J. A. KEMP
ADDITION TO THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas,
deems it advisable and in the public interest to close a portion of the
alley hereinafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the one-half block long alley running North and
South parallel to Kentucky and California Streets , from the South property
line of Galveston Street to the South property line of Lots 3 and 14, in
Block 30 of the Hinckley Subdivision of the J. A. Kemp Addition, lying
between Lots 1, 2 and 3 and Lots 14, 15 and 16 of Block 30 of the Hinckley
Subdivision of the J. A. Kemp Addition to the City of Wichita Falls, Texas ,
be and the same is hereby closed and abandoned.
Section 2 . The City of Wichita Falls, Texas , hereby reserves an ease-
ment in said land for the purpose of laying and maintaining all kind and
character of utility lines, including water, gas, electric, telephone,
telegraph and power lines, and sanitary and storm sewers.
