Ord 2129 10/26/19647 ORDINANCE NO. AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO, 2065 BY PROHIBITING THE USE OF FOOD OR FOOD PRODUCTS IN THE AUDITORIUM PORTION OF THE MEMORIAL AUDITORIUM BUILDING, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS: SECTION to Ordinance No. 2065 is hereby amended by adding thereto the following section: "Section 2a. No person shall carry any food or food product of any kind into the auditorium portion of said Memorial Auditorium Building® " SECTION2, As the auditorium portion of said Memorial Auditorium Building has recently been renovated at great cost to the taxpayers of the City, and the use of food and food products in such auditorium damages it, this ordinance is declared an emergency measure on the ground of urgent public need for the preservation of the peace, health and safety of property of the City, and it shall be effective from and after the date of its passage.
