ORDINANCE NO.
ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING A ONE BLOCK LONG ALLEY IN
BLOCK 106, ORIGINAL TOWNSITE OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, AND RESERVING A UTILITY EASEMENT.
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas,
deems it advisable and in the public interest to close the alley here-
inafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the one block long, twenty-five foot wide alley
running Northwest and Southeast parallel to Michigan and Lee Streets,
from the Southeast property line of Second Street to the Northwest
property line of Third Street, lying between Lots 1 through 7, and
Lots 8 through 14, of Block 106, Original Townsite of the City of Wichita
Falls, Texas, be and the same is hereby closed and abandoned.
Section 20 The City of Wichita .Falls , Texas, hereby reserves an
easement in said land for the purpose of laying and maintaining all
kind and character of utility lines, including water, gas, electric,
telephone, telegraph and power lines, and sanitary and storm sewers.
