AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING A PORTION OF GRACE STREET
BETWEEN THE SOUTH RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF TWENTY-SECOND STREET
AND THE NORTH RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF KEELER STREET, AND RETAIN-
ING A UTILITY EASEMENT.
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas,
deems it advisable and in the public interest to close that portion of
Grace Street hereinafter described,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS :
SECTION 1, That the portion of Grace Street between the South
right-of-way line of Twenty-Second Street and the North right-of-way
line of Keeler Street be and the same is hereby closed and abandoned.
SECTION 2 , The City of Wichita Falls, Texas, hereby reserves
an easement in said land for the purpose of laying and maintaining all
kind and character of utility lines, including water, gas, electric,
telephone, telegraph, and power lines, and sanitary and storm sewers.
