AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A WARRANT FEE
FOR ALL CRIMINAL PROCESSES ISSUED OUT OF
THE CORPORATION COURT OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls,
Texas, has ascertained that at the present time there is no set
fee charged for the issuance of criminal processes out of the
Corporation Court of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, deems it
advisable and necessary that a set fee be charged.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
SECTION I. That all criminal processes out of the Corporation
Court of the City of Wichita Falls shall carry a fee of ten dollars
($10 .00) for each such process issued.
SECTION II. The fact that there is now no set charge for the
issuance of said processes, and that criminal processes are issued
every day out of Corporation Court makes the passage of this
Ordinance an urgent public necessity, requiring that this Ordinance
be passed as an emergency measure, and this Ordinance is passed as
an emergency measure and shall be in full force and effect immed-
iately from and after its passage.
