AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 155 AND 156
OF ARTICLE XX OF. ORDINANCE NO. 2163 TO MAKE
AVENUE "B" ONE WAY EAST BOUND FROM KEMP BLVD. ®
TO FILLMORE STREET; AND TO PROHIBIT PARKING
ON BOTH SIDES OF PIERCE STREET FROM TENTH
STREET TO THE SEYMOUR HIGHWAY.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Section 155 of Article XX of Ordinance No. 2163
be amended to add the following:
Name of Direction of
Street Traffic Movement
Avenue B Kemp to Fillmore East
SECTION 2 . Section 156 of Article XX of Ordinance No. 2163
be amended to add the following:
Name of Parking
Street Prohibited
Pierce Tenth St. to Seymour Hwy. (Both Sides)
SECTION 3. That Ordinance No. 2163 will become effective
May 26, 1965, creates an urgent public need for the preservation of
the peace and safety of the property of the City of Wichita Falls,
this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency and will become
effective May 26, 1965 .
