ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING A PORTION OF
AN ALLEY IN BLOCK NO. 74 OF THE ORIGINAL TOWN
OF WICHITA FALLS TEXAS, AND RESERVING AN
EASEMENT FOR UTILITIES.
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita
Falls, Texas, deems it advisable and in the public interest
to close the portion of alley hereinafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the following described portion of an
alley in Block 74 of the Original Town of the City of Wichita
Falls, Texas, to wit:
BEGINNING at the most eastern corner of Lot 8, Block 74;
THENCE in a southeasterly direction 25 ' to the most
northern corner of Lot 14 in said Block;
THENCE in a southwesterly direction 150 ' to the most
western corner of Lot 9 in said Block;
THENCE in a northwesterly direction 25 ' to the most
southern corner of Lot 8 in said Block;
THENCE in a northeasterly direction 150 ' to the place
of beginning;
be and the same is hereby closed and abandoned.
SECTION 2. The City of Wichita Falls, Texas, hereby
reserves an easement in said land for the purpose of laying
and maintaining all kind and character of utility lines, in-
cluding water, gas, electric, telephone, telegraph and power
lines, and sanitary and storm sewers.
