ORDINANCE NO,
AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND AtANDONING A PORTION OF
BURNETT STREET LYING yETWEEN BLOCKS 31 AND 32 OF
THE I. JALONICK ADDITION TO `I' I; CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, the Ioard of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls,
TEXAS, deems it advisable and in the public interest to close that
portion of Burnett Street hereinafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the portion of Burnett Street hereinafter
described be and the same is hereby closed and abandoned, said
portion of Burnett Street being described as follows:
From the north right-of-way line of Chester Avenue
to the south right-of-way line of Nineteenth Street
and lying between Blocks 31 and 32 of the I. Jalonick
Addition to the City of Wichita Falls, Texas,
SECTION 2. City of Wichita Falls, Texas, hereby
reserves an easement in said land for the purpose of laying and
maintaining all kind and character of utility lines including
water, gas, electric, telephone, telegraph and power lines and
sanitary and storm sewers,
