AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING A PORTION OF
NINETEENTH STREET LYING BETWEEN BLOCKS 9 AND 32
OF THE JALONICK ADDITION TO THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls,
Texas, deems it advisable and in the public interest to close that
portion of Nineteenth Street hereinafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS :
SECTION 1 That portion of Nineteenth Street hereinafter
described be and the same is hereby closed and abandoned, said
portion of Nineteenth Street being described as follows :
From the West right-of-way line of Burnett Street
to the West right-of-way line of Austin Street and
lying between Blocks 9 and 32 of the Jalonick
Addition, save-and-except the fifteen (15) feet
of Fort Worth & Denver Railway Company right-of-way
that has a curve of D = 40 00 ' , Central Angle
67° - 40 ' , L = 1691.7 ° and T 960 . 1 ° through this
property.
SECTION 2. The City of Wichita Falls, Texas, hereby reserves
an easement in said land for the purpose of laying and maintaining
all kinds and character of utility lines, including water, gas,
electric, telephone, telegraph and power lines, and sanitary and
storm sewers.
