AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2163 (THE
TRAFFIC ORDINANCE) BY CORRECTING THE REFERENCE
TO SCHEDULE VII IN SECTION 51.
BE IT ORDAINED :Y THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
THAT Section 51 of Ordinance No. 2163 be hereby amended
so that it shall hereafter read as follows:
"SECTION 51. Increasinq State speed limits in certain
zones - It is hereby deemed upon the basis of an engineer-
ing and traffic investigation that\the speed permitted by
State law upon certain: streets is less than is necessary
for safe operation of vehicles thereon. It is hereby
declared that the prima facie speed limits are altered
on those streets set out in Schedule VII in the Appendix
of this ordinance and shall henceforth be as shown in
said Schedule VII when signs are erected giving notice
thereof. "
