Ord 2199 10/25/1965 ORDINANCE NO. ORDINANCE PROVIDING A TEMPORARY LOAN OF $102,400 .00, WHICH WAS PART OF AN AMOUNT LOANED TO THE WICHITA GENERAL HOSPITAL FOR THE PURCHASE OF A NURSE CALL SYSTEM. WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has heretofore borrowed the sum of $128,000 .00 from the First-Wichita National Bank, which sum was in turn loaned to the Board of Managers of the Wichita General Hospital to be used to purchase a nurse call system for said hospital; and WHEREAS, the balance due on this loan is now $102,400 .00, and it is deemed advisable to make a new temporary loan from the bank for that amount, which shall be payable on or before September 30, 1966; and, WHEREAS, in accordance with the requirements of Section 100 of the Charter of the City of Wichita Falls, there has been public notice of at least two (2) weeks before this proposal has finally been acted upon by the: Board of Aldermen, and a public hearing has been held to consider the matter of this loan. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT the City be authorized to make this temporary loan, and that the Mayor be authorized to execute a promissory note in the sum of $102,400.00, which shall be payable not later than September 30, 1966. Said note shall be given to the bank to renew the balance due on the above mention- ed note, which was dated November 23, 1964.
