Ord 2204 12/13/1965 ORDINANCE NO
ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING PORTIONS OF
AN ALLEY. THE COLLINS AND ISLEY SUBDIVISIONS
BLOCK 251, ORIGINAL TOWNSITE OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, AND RESERVING AN EASEMENT FOR UTILITIES.
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita
Falls, Texas, deems it advisable and in the public interest to
close and abandon portions of-an alley in the Collins and
Isley Subdivisions, Block 251, Original Townsite of Wichita
Falls, Texas, said portions being hereinafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS :
SECTION 1. That the hereinafter described portions of
an alley be and the same are hereby closed and abandoned, to-wit:
TRACT NO, 1.
BEGINNING at a point in the South line of Twelfth
Street at the Northeast corner of Lot ; 9, Collins
Subdivision of Block 251, Original Townsite of
Wichita Falls;
THENCE S 35° 00 ' E along the West line of said
alley 165.0 feet to the Southeast corner of Lot 9;
THENCE S 55° 00 ' W along the North line of said
alley 100.0 feet to the Southwest corner of Lot 10 ;
THENCE S 35° 00 E 20 .0 feet to a point on the
North line of said alley at the Northwest corner
of Lot 11;
THENCE N 55° 00 ' E along the South line of said
alley, at 100.0 feet pass the Northeast corner
of Lot 8, in all, 110 .0 feet to a point on the
East line of said alley and in the West line of
Lot 4, said point being N 35° 00 ' W 15.0 feet
from the: Southwest corner of said Lot 4;
THENCE N 350 00 ' W along the East line of said
alley 185.0 feet to a point in the South line of
Twelfth Street at the Northwest corner of Lot 1;
THENCE S 55° 00 ' W along the South line of Twelfth
Street 10 .0 feet to the place of beginning
TRACT NO. 2
BEGINNING at a point on the East line of said alley
and on the West line of Lot 11, Collins Subdivision
of Block, 251, Original Townsite of Wichita Falls,
Texas, S35° 00 ' E 9.0 feet from the Northwest
corner of said Lot 11;
THENCE S 35° 00 ' E along the West line of Lot 11,
6,0 feet;
THENCE S 55° 00' W 10®0 feet to a point N 55° 00 '
E 15.0 feet from the Northeast corner of Lot 6,
Isley Subdivision of Block 251, Original Townsite

SECTION 2 . The City of Wichita Falls , Texas, hereby
reserves an easement in said land for the purpose of laying and
maintaining all kinds and character of utility lines, including
water, gas, electric, telephone, telegraph and power lines, and
sanitary and storm sewers®
