AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2022 (THE 1963 ELEC-
TRICAL CODE OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS) INCREASING THE
NUMBER OF MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF ELECTRICAL EXAMINERS
FROM FIVE TO SEVEN.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Article I, Section I of Ordinance No. 2022 is
hereby amended so that the second paragraph thereof shall here-
after read as follows:
"Membership: The Board of Electrical Examiners shall con-
sist of seven members, who shall serve without compensation,
selected as follows: One Master Electrician (Electrical Contractor) ,
one Journeyman Electrician, one member who is an employee of the
Local Electrical Utility Company (currently known as the Texas
Electric Service Company) , one member, who, in the opinion of the
City Council, is qualified through education and practical experi-
ence to perform the duties of an Electrical Examiner, one member
who shall be a representative of industry, one member who shall
be a home builder or otherwise associated with the home building
industry, and one member who shall be designated as a member at
large. This member shall not be connected with the electrical
contracting industry for monetary gain. Four members of this
Board shall constitute a quorum."
