AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 156 AND SECTION 157 OF
ORDINANCE NO. 2163 MAKING IT ILLEGAL TO PARK A VEHICLE
ON KEMP STREET FROM ITS INTERSECTION WITH NINTH TO ITS
INTERSECTION WITH CALL FIELD ROAD.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 1. Section 156 of Article XX of Ordinance No.
2163 is hereby amended to provide that parking shall be pro-
hibited at all times on Kemp Street from Ninth Street to Call
Field Road.
Section 2. Section 157 of Article XX of Ordinance No.
2163 is hereby amended by deleting all provisions contained
in this section with reference to Kemp Boulevard.
Section 3. The fact that the parking of automobiles on
Kemp Boulevard between Ninth Street and Call Field Road is
creating a traffic hazard on Kemp Street creates an emergency,
therefore, this ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage.
