WHEREAS , Mr. Milan J. Vaughan has heretofore served as
a Member of the Board of Aldermen of this City for a period of
two years; and
WHEREAS, he has served with distinction and great ability
in such capacity and in a manner that is a credit to himself and
to the City cf Wichita Falls; and
WHEREAS, he has recently completed such term of office; and
NOW THEREI ORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS , TEXAS :
THAT by this Resolution there is hereby expressed the appre-
ciation of the people of the City of Wichita Falls , to Mr. Milani J.
Vaughan for his unselfish efforts and honorable and distinguished
services to the citizenship of this City as a Member of the Board
of Aldermen.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Mr. Milan J. Vaughan be granted
either a life-membership in the Municipal Golf Club of Wichita Falls ,
Texas , or a life-estate in a lot for a camp site on the shores of
Lake Kickapoo (the latter being subject to a thirty day removal there-
from in the event the same is needed for an additional water supply) ,
in appreciation of his services.
BE IT FURTHER. RESOLVED that an exemplified copy of this Reso-
lution be presented to Mr. Vaughan and the original hereof be recor-
ded on the Minutes of this Meeting.
