WHEREAS, on the 214th day of February, 1951, Alfred T. Junk
and wife, Vera Junk, conveyed all of Lot 8, Block H. and Lot 9, Block
K of Kemp Fair Park Addition to the City of Wichita Falls retaining
an option to repurchase these lots, if the same were not used for the
purpose of connecting Grant Street with Buchanan Street; and
WHEREAS, on the 10th day of June 1952, the City of Wichita
Falls conveyed Lot 9 of Block K. , among other property, to the Univer-
sity Park Corporation and thereafter used a portion of Lot 8, Block H.
when Kemp Boulevard was widened; and
WHEREAS, Kr. Junk desires to exercise his option; and
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls is unable to fully perform;
and
WHEREAS, Kr. Junk has agreed to release all of his rights to
the above geitherofheBovedescribedlotsinexchangefortheCityconveying
to him the remaining portion of Lot 8, Block H.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERKEN OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, THAT the Mayor be and he is hereby author-
ized to execute a Warranty Deed to Alfred T. Junk and wife, Vera Junk,
covering the following described tract of land:
Being a part of Lot 8, Block H, Kemp Fair Park Addi-
tion to the City of Wichita Falls, more fully des-
cribed as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot 8, Block H,
Kemp Fair Park Addition;
Thence North 50 feet to the Northwest corner of said
Lot 8;
Thence East along the North line of said Lot 8, 129.2
feet to the West line of Kemp Boulevard;
Thence in a Southwesterly direction along the West line
of Kemp Boulevard 67.5 feet to the North line of Avenue
Z;
Thence West along the North line of Avenue Z to the
place of beginning.
