A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE STREET IMPROVEMENTS ABUTTING 3001
AND 3003 PENNSYLVANIA ROAD, AND DIRECTING THE ISSUANCE AND DELNERY OF
CERTIFICATES IN EVIDENCE OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS LEVIED.
WHEREAS, The City of Wichita Falls , Texas , has heretofore entered
into a contract with R. 0. Green, doing business as R. O. Green Cons-
truction Company, for the making and construction of certain street im-
provements on the following portion of Pennsylvania Road in Wichita
Falls, Wichita County, Texas, to wit:
Pennsylvania Road , Designated as 3001 and 3003 Pennsylvania,
abutting lots 15 and 16, of Block 5, John W. Thomas Addition
to the City of Wichita Falls, Wichita County, Texas.
and
WHEREAS, said improvements have been completed and the Director of
Public Works has certified that the same has been completed in strict
accordance with the terms of said contract and specifications .
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION I. The street improvements abutting on 3001 and 3003 Penn-
sylvania Road be and the same are hereby accepted , and the contract with
R. 0. Green, doing business as R. 0. Green Construction Company, with
reference to the construction of such improvements , be and is hereby de-
clared fully completed and performed .
SECTION II. The Mayor and City Clerk is hereby authorized and direc-
ted to issue and execute in the name of the City of Wichita Falls, certi-
ficates in evidence of the special assessments levied against the abutting
property and the owners thereof for such improvements , and the Mayor and
City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute the same and
impress thereon the corporate seal of Wichita Falls, Texas , all in accor-
dance with the proceedings relating to such improvements and assessments,
and such certificates shall be delivered to the said R. O. Green, doing
business as R. O. Green Construction Company .
This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after
its passage.
