WHEREAS, on the 14th day of September , 1959, the Board of
Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls adopted Resolution No. 375; and
WHEREAS, the description of land , as set out, was incorrect.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Aldermen of the
City of Wichita Falls that the description, as set out in Resolution No.
375, be amended so as to read as follows :
Being a tract of land out of Block No. 17, League No. 1,
Denton County School Lands, in Wichita County, Texas, located appro-
ximately four and one-half (4-1/2 ) miles southwestward from Wichita
County Courthouse; and being a portion of a subdivision dedicated
as "Westmoreland Park Acreage" , said dedication and the accompanying
plat being recorded on pages Nos. 103 and 104 of Book No. 3 of the
Wichita County Flat Records in the County Clerk's Office; and being
more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows :
BEGINNING at a point in the north line of Montrose Avenue
10.02 feet westward from the southwest corner of Block No. 115 of the
said Westmoreland Park Acreage subdivision, said point being 1499.68
feet south 89°-43' east and 35 feet north 0°-33' east from the south-
west corner of Block No. 17, League No. 1, Denton County School Lands;
THENCE south 89°-43' east along the north line of Montrose
Avenue a distance of 670.02 feet to a point in the west line of Alex-
andria Road , said point being the southeast corner of Block No. 115
of the said Westmoreland Park Acreage subdivision;
THENCE north 0°-33' east along the west line of Alexandria
Road a distance of 1866.38 feet to a point in the southerly line of
the Wichita Valley Railway right-of-way, said point being the north-
east corner of Block No. 103 of the Westmoreland Park Acreage sub-
division;
THENCE south 57°-12 ' west along the southerly line of the
Wichita Valley Railway right-of-way a distance of 1587. 5 feet to a
point in the westerly line extended of Lot No. 4, Block No. 112, of
the Westmoreland Park Acreage subdivision;
THENCE south 32°-48' east with the westerly line and west-
erly line extended of Lot No. 4, Block No. 112 of the Westmoreland
Park Acreage subdivision, a distance of 1193.41 feet to the point of
beginning;
