WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls and Wichita County have operated
jointly a service for indigent patients through the Wichita General Hospital;
and
WHEREAS, the Wichita County Medical Society has been co-operating
with the City and County in serving indigent patients; and
WHEREAS, the Wichita City-County Welfare Board has also been co-
operating in this service; and
WHEREAS, a reorganization plan has been submitted for approval by
the City of Wichita Falls and Wichita County; and
WHEREAS, the reorganization plan, as submitted, is expected to
provide a more efficient method for caring for indigent patients.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Aldermen of the City
of Wichita Falls that the City of Wichita Falls approves the reorganization
of the system to serve indigent patients.
