A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK
TO CANCEL BOND NO. 36 OF THE REFUNDING INCENERATCR SERIES D.
BONDS ISSUED ON MAY 1, 1924, AND MATURIND ON NOVEMBER 1, 1944,
AND CALLED IN 1940.
WHEREAS , on the First day of May 1924, the City of Wichita
Falls issued Eleven Thousand ($11,000.00) Dollars of Refunding
Incenerator Series D. Bonds, and
WHEREAS, one of said bonds, to wit, No. 36, was due to
mature on November 1, 1944, and
WHEREAS, the said bond was callable and the said bond was
called in 1940, and
WHEREAS, the said bond, to wit, No. 36, in the face amount
of Five Hundred ($500.00) Dollars has not been presented for
payment, and there is a presumption that the same is lost.
NOW 'THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Aldermen of the
City of Wichita Falls that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to cancel Bond No. 36 of the Refunding Incenerator Series
D. Bonds issued on May 1, 1924.
