VTHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has entered into
a contract with the United States of America in regard to
leasing certain land to the Naval and Marine Corps Reserve Train-
ing Center, said lease being executed on October 12, 1953; and
I �IiE tF Ss it has become necessary for the Naval and
urine Corps Reserve Training Center to lease more land, which
is approximately 0.435 acres, in order to facilitate parking; and
=IJHEREAS3 the City and the United States Governnent
desire to amend the aforementioned lease to include this property;
NOW THEREFCPE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Aldermen
of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, as follows:
That the Mayor or City Manager be authorized to lease
additional land to the United States Naval and �ljIar ine Corps Reserve
Training Center, the approximately 0.435 acres, provided that said
lease shall specify that the City shall have the right of ingress
and egress as directed by the United States Naval and Marine Corps
Reserve Training Center.
This resolution shall take effect and the supplemental
lease be prepared after its passage. !�
