A RESOLUTION A]THCRIZING AND DIRECTING ACQUISITION
CF LEASEHOLD INTERESTS OF USE AND CCCUPANCY OF
REAL ESTATE
ia`,rriEREAs,, the City of n ichita Falls, Texas, acting by and through
its Mayor and Board of Aldermen, pursuant to lavers made and provided
therefor, has regularly passed and adopted Resolution No. 364 , this

Falls, Texas, have heretofore determined and deem it now advisable,
proper and for the best interests of the City, pursuant to the afore�

F orce, certain leasehold interests of use and occupancy in and to a
portion or that tract of land designated as "Iel3 Field Airport", -
for municipal airport purposes in order that the City may regularly
and properly carry out and perform its duly authorised functions and
obligations relative thereto,
NOW THMMEFORE, BE IT ORDERED AND RESOLVED by the Mayor and Board
of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, duly assembled in
lav3ful and regular session in said City on this 11 day or August_ ,
1959, a quorum of said council and a majority of the members teeing
present and voting "Yes" or in the affirmative on a motion duly made
and seconded for such purpose, that the City formally execute a lease,
as lessee, -from the Secretary of the Air Force of the United States
of !merica, as lessor, and formally accept and exercise the rights
thereunder transferred, of use and occupancy by the City of a portion
of that tract of land designated as "Kell Field Airport" for municipal
airport purposes.
IT IS H D EDY FURTH�.-'FT4 RESOLVED AND ORDL�P".D : That said motion be,
and is hereby adopted, and that the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, is
hereby authorized to execute, as lessee, the aforesaid lease with the
United States of 4-- nerica, as lessor, and tao accept and exercise the
rights of use and occupancy thereunder transferred for municipal

airport purposes, and that the "ay or of said City be, and is hereby
authorized to make and execute all instruments necessary for the
° consummation of said transaction and execute aforesaid lease or
leases with the United States of America, pursuant to both the e,�press
and implied provisions of this Resolution, and pursuant to law.
PASSED P.DM ADOPTED this 11 day of _ Ault 1959.
