ORDINANCE NO. as 6a
AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING A PORTION OF
AN ALLEY ADJOINING THE SOUTH LINE OF LOT 8 IN
BLOCK 85 OF FAITH VILLAGE, UNIT III, AND RESERV-
ING AN EASEMENT FOR UTILITIES.
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita
Falls, Texas, deems it advisable and in the public interest
to close and abandon a portion of an alley adjoining the
South line of Lot 8 in Block 85 of Faith Village, Unit III,
in Wichita Falls, said portion of alley being hereinafter
described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the hereinafter described portion of
an alley be and the same is hereby closed and abandoned, to-
wit:
Beginning at a point in the West right-
of-way line of Kemp Boulevard, said point
also being the Southeast corner of Lot 8,
Block 85, Faith Village, Unit III ;
Thence South 0°6' 6" East 15. 5 feet to a
point for a corner;
Thence North 85°25 ' 56" West 124. 97 feet
along the South line of Block 85, Faith
Village, Unit III to a point for a
corner;
Thence North 006 ' 6" West a distance of
15. 5 feet to the South line of Lot 8
in said Block 85, a point for a corner;
Thence South 85°25 ' 56" East 124. 97 feet
to a point in the West right-of-way
line, said point also being the place
of beginning.

SECTION 2. The City of Wichita Falls, Texas, hereby
reserves an easement in said land for the purpose of laying
and maintaining all kinds and character of utility lines,
including water, gas, electric, telephone, telegraph and
power lines, and sanitary and storm sewers.
