Ord 2269 10/10/1966 ORDINANCE NO. ®20:2 6 y AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING A TEMPORARY LOAN OF SEVENTY SIX THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED DOLLARS . WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has heretofore executed a promissory note dated November 9th, 1965, in the principle sum of One Hundred Two Thousand Four Hun- dred Dollars ($102, 400.00) , payable to the order of the First-Wichita National Bank, which represented part of the sum loaned to the Board of Managers of the Wichita General Hospital to be used to purchase a nurse call system for said hospital; and, WHEREAS, the balance due on this loan as of its maturity date is Seventy Six Thousand Eight Hundred Dol- lars ($76, 800 .00) , and it is deemed advisable to make a new temporary loan from said bank for that amount, which will be payable on or before September 30th, 1967 . NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: SECTION 1. That the City be authorized to make this temporary loan, and that the Mayor be authorized to execute a promissory note in the sum of Seventy Six Thousand Eight Hundred Dollars ($76, 800 .00) , which shall be payable not later than September 30th, 1967 . Said note shall be given to the bank to renew the balance due on the above mentioned note, which was dated Novem- ber 9th, 1965. t SECTION 2. In conformity with Section 100 of the Charter of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, public S ' notice is hereby given that the Board of Aldermen may take final action on this ordinance two weeks hereafter, and this ordinance is introduced this the&e12 day of Septem- ber, 1966.
