AN ORDINANCE MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE
SUPPORT, MAINTENANCE, BUILDINGS AND IMPROVE-
MENTS FOR THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS FOR THE
FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 1966, AND
ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 1967, BOTH DATES INCLU-
SIVE, ADOPTING THE BUDGET FIGURES AND ACCOUNTS
AS PART OF SAID APPROPRIATIONS, AND DECLARING
AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the budget estimate of the revenues
of the City of Wichita Falls and the expenses of conducting
the affairs for the ensuing year, beginning October 1, 1966
and ending September 30, 1967, as submitted to the Board of
Aldermen by the City Manager of said City, be and the same
is in all things adopted and approved as the budget estimate
of all current expenses as well as the fixed charges against
said City for the fiscal year beginning the 1st day of Octo-
ber, 1966 and ending the 30th day of September, 1967.
Section 2. That the appropriation for the fiscal year
beginning October 1, 1966 and ending September 30, 1967, be
set up in accounts as set out in said budget which is made
a part hereof.
Section 3. The immediate need to continue the normal
operation of the business of the City creates an emergency,
and in order to protect the public health, welfare and to
preserve the peace, this ordinance shall take effect immed-
iately, and it is so ordained.
