BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALnZMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS:

SECTION 1. Effective with the first gas bills rendered after
thirty days from the date of passage of this ordinance, the general serif--
ice rite for sales of natural gas rendered to residential and commercial
consoaters within the city limits of Wichita Falls by Lone Star Gas Com-
pany, a Toxas corporation, its successors and assigns, is hereby fixed
and d termined as follows:

Additional 0 $.8433 gross per MC? $.759 net per MCF
No gas bill will be rendered to any residential or commercial consumer
served under the above rate not consuming any gas during any monthly
billiag period.
ADJUSTMENT
The amount of each net monthly bill coaputed at the above stated
rate.; snail be subject to the following adjustment: Plus an amount equiv-
alent to the proportionate part of any new tax, or increased, rate of tax,
or govornmental imposition or char6o (except state, county) city and spe-
cial district ad valorem taxes and any taxes on net income) levied or as-
cesco6 against the Company or on its gas business, as the result of any
new or amended law, rdinanee or contract, after January 1, 1966. Each
grooa monthly bill shall be adjusted proportionately.
Not rate shall apply to all bills paid within ten days from
mont:oly billing date.
This ordinance does not restaa.ve" any rate or charge except
those specifically set out hereinabove.
The above rate is applicable to each residential and commercial
consuier per month or for any part of a month for which gas is used at
the same location.

amenCad by either the City or Caany furnishing gas in the manner pro-
videe, by lay. Service hereunder is subject to the orders of regulatory
bodies having jurisdiction, and to the Company's Rules and Regulations

tions currently on file in the Company's
office.
SECTION 3. In conformity with Section
121 of the amended Charter of the City
of Wichita Falls, Texas, this ordinance is
on the 15th day of August, 1966, intro-
duced and it is directed that a public
hearing shall be held on the 12th day of,
September 1966, at 7:30 p.m. In the City
Council Chambers, and the City Clerk Is
directed to publish this ordinance in full
din a newspaper of general circulation
