AN ORDINANCE MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FROM THE
UNAPPROPRIATED FUNDS OF THE GENERAL FUND TO
ACCOUNT NUMBER 091-0022 , AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated out of the
unappropriated funds of the General Fund the sum of
$8, 400 .00 which shall be placed in Account Number 091-0022 .
SECTION 2. The sum herein appropriated shall be used
to pay for the demolition and removal of the buildings on
the property formerly known as the Academy of Mary Immacu-
late; the money so used shall be added to the cost of such
property, and shall be recovered at such time as the pro- -
perty is disposed of.
SECTION 3. The fact that this amount is now due and
that it is essential for the immediate use of the City of
Wichita Falls creates an emergency, therefore this ordin-
ance shall become effective immediately upon its passage.
