:-2c ORDINANCE DETERMINING THE NECESSITY FOR AND PROVIDING FOR THE
_MPROVEMENTS, CONSISTING OF CONCRETE CURBS AND GUTTERS ON PORTIONS
NINi . STREET AND ON THE OLD WINDTHORST ROAD, IN THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, ADOPTING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS THEREFOR,
DIRECTING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS, AND PROVIDING SUNDRY AND OTHER
MATTERS INCIDENT THERETO.
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas
is of the opinion that the hereinafter mentioned portions of avenues,
streets and public places in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas should be
improved; and,
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Plans and Specifications for
such improvements, which Plans and Specifications have been examined and
found to be in all things right and proper; ' •Pif,•,,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
I. .
It is hereby determined that it is necessary that the following
portions of avenues, streets and public places in the City of Wichita
Falls, Texas be improved, to-wit: 4
NINTH STREET: From East Wenonah to _ ��,,
Beverly Drive.
OLD WINDTHORST ROAD: From U. S. 281 (East Scott)
1900 feet south.
II.
Said Plans and Specifications be, and are hereby, adopted and
approved.
III.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise for bids for the making
and construction of certain improvements in accordance with the aforementioned
Plans and Specifications therefor, which advertisement shall be published once
a week for two consecutive weeks prior to the time for letting such contract,
the date of the first publication to be at least ten (10) days prior to the
date set for letting said contract, the said publications to be in some news-
paper published in and of general circulation in the City of Wichita Falls,
Texas.
This ordinance . shall take effect and be in force immediately from and
after its passage.

Notice is hereby given that the governing body of the City
of Wichita Falls, Texas, has ordered and determined it to be neces-
sary that the following streets in the City of Wichita Falls, Wichita
County, Texas, be improved and that a portion of the cost of such
improvement is to be specially assessed as a lien upon the property
abutting thereon, and said portions of streets in the City of
Wichita Falls, Texas as follows:
NINTH STREET: From East Wenonah to Beverly
Drive.
OLD WINDTHORST ROAD: From U. S. 281 (East Scott)
1900 feet south.
