AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS AIRPORT IMPROVEMENT FUND AND DECLARING
AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of
Wichita Falls, Texas, by Section No. 16 of Ordinance No.
2084 provided money remaining in the Airport Revenue Fund
at the close of each fiscal year of the City, after making
adequate provision for the Funds created by this Ordinance,
and after taking care of all other legal obligations, if any,
against the Revenue Fund and after retaining therein an amount
certified by the Airport Manager as sufficient to pay esti-
mated Maintenance and Operation Expenses for a period of two
months, may be used by the City for any lawful purpose.
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen desires to enlarge and
improve the Airport Terminal Building.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. There is hereby established a Wichita Falls
Airport Improvement Fund.
SECTION 2. There is hereby appropriated from the Air-
port Revenue Funds the sum of $25,000 .00 which shall be placed
in the Wichita Falls, Texas Airport Improvement Fund.
SECTION 3. The fact that this amount is now due and
that it is essential for the immediate use of the City of
Wichita Falls creates an emergency this ordinance shall become
effective immediately upon its passage.
