ORDINANCE NO. 3 3 1
AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING A PORTION OF
AVENUE M, LYING BETWEEN BLOCK 12 OF COUNTRY CLUB
ESTATES, FIRST SECTION, AND 'CAMELOT SUBDIVISION,
AND RESERVING A UTILITY EASEMENT.
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, F.
Texas, deems it advisable and in the public interest to close that portion f:
of Avenue M hereinafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:

SECTION 1. That portion of Avenue M hereinafter described be
and the same is hereby closed and abandoned, said portion of Avenue M
being described as follows:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the south right-of-
way
line of Kell Boulevard and the center line of Avenue M
extended westerly; said point is the place of beginning for
the description of "Camelot Subdivision".
Thence N 68° 17' E 80.083 feet along the south right-of-way
line of Kell Boulevard to its intersection with the north
right-of-way line of Avenue M;
Thence S 89° 43' E 221.860 feet along the north right-of-way
line of Avenue M to a point for a corner;
Thence S 0° 17' E 60 feet to a point in the south right-of-
way line of Avenue M for a corner;
Thence N 89° 43 ' W 370.24 feet along south right-of-way
line of Avenue M to its intersection with the south right-
way line of Kell Boulevard to the place of beginning.
SECTION 2. The City of Wichita Falls, Texas hereby reserves
an easement in said land for the purpose of laying and maintaining all
kinds and character of utility lines, including water, gas, electric,
telephone, telegraph and power lines, and sanitary and storm sewers.
