AN ORDINANCE DETERMINING THE NECESSITY FOR THE ORDERING AND
PROVIDING FOR THE IMPROVEMENTS CONSISTING OF CONCRETE CURBS
AND GUTTERS OF PORTIONS OF AVENUES, STREETS, AND PUBLIC PLACES
IN THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, DESIGNATED AS A PORTION
OF THE 1968 RECONSTRUCTION PAVING PROGRAM, DIRECTING THE CITY
ENGINEER TO PREPARE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS THEREFOR AND
PROVIDING SUNDRY OTHER MATTERS INCIDENT THERETO.
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas is
of the opinion that the hereinafter mentioned portions of avenues, streets,
and public places in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas should be improved;
THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, THAT:
I.
It is hereby determined that it is necessary that the following portions
of avenues, streets and public places in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas be
improved, to-wit:
CALL FIELD ROAD: From University Avenue to Boren Avenue
RIDGEWAY DRIVE: From Borton Street to Maurine Street
HATTON ROAD: U.S. 281 Expressway to East City Limits
II.
The City Engineer is hereby ordered and directed to prepare Plans and
Specifications for the improvement of the hereinabove described portions of
avenues, streets, and public places as soon as practicable and to present same
to the Board of Aldermen.
III.
This ordinance shall take effect and be in force and effect immediately
from and after its passage.

Notice is hereby given that the governing body of the City of
Wichita Falls, Texas, has ordered and determined it to be necessary that
the following streets in the City of Wichita Falls, Wichita County, Texas,
be improved and that a portion of the cost of such improvement is to be
specially assessed as a lien upon the property abutting thereon, and said
portions of streets in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas as follows:
CALL FIELD ROAD: From Uriiver'sity Adenue to BorenicAvenue
RIDGEWAY DRIVE: From BOttnr Street' to Matitina Street
HATTON ROAD: From U.S. 281 Expressway to East
City Limits
