ORDINANCE NO. 45f),
AN ORDINANCE DETERMING THE NECESSITY FOR AND PROVIDING
FOR THE IMPROVEMENTS ON GRANT STREET FROM KEMP' BOULEVARD
TO AVENUE I, IN THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, DIRECT-
ING THE CITY ENGINEER TO PREPARE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
THEREFOR, AND PROVIDING SUNDRY AND OTHER MATTERS INCIDENT
THERETO.
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas
is of the opinion that the hereinafter mentioned portions of avenues, streets,
and public places in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas should be improved; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
I.
It is hereby determined that it is necessary that the following
portions of avenues, streets and public places in the City of Wichita Falls,
Texas be improved, to-wit:
GRANT STREET; From Kemp Boulevard to
Avenue I
II.
The City Engineer is hereby ordered and directed to prepare Plans
and Specifications for the improvement of the hereinabove described portions
of avenues, streets and public places as soon as practicable and to present
same to the Board of Aldermen.
In this connection, the City Engineer may provide in the afore-
mentioned Plans and Specifications alternate types of improvements to be
constructed on all or a part of the above described portions of avenues,
streets and public places if he deems it advisable.
This ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately from
and after its passage. �j

Notice is hereby given that the governing body of the City of
Wichita Falls, Texas, has ordered and determined it to be necessary that
the following streets in the City of Wichita Falls, Wichita County, Texas,
be improved and that a portion of the cost of such improvement is to be
specially assessed as a lien upon the property abutting thereon, and said
portions of streets in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas as follows:
GRANT STREET: From Kemp Boulevard to
Avenue I.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, the City of Wichita Falls has caused this
instrument to be executed in its behalf and signed by its Mayor, this
