ORDINANCE NO. '<DO
AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING A PORTION
OF JASPER STREET OUT OF SIBLEY TAYLOR SECOND
ADDITION TO THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, SAID
PORTION BEING BOUNDED ON THE WEST BY LOTS 8
AND 9, BLOCK 22 OF SAID ADDITION, ON THE NORTH
BY CITY OF WICHITA FALLS PROPERTY, ON THE EAST
BY LOT 8, BLOCK 23 OF SAID ADDITION, AND ON
THE SOUTH BY BONDS STREET, AND RESERVING A
UTILITY EASEMENT.
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita
Falls, Texas, deems it advisable and in the public interest
to close the portion of street hereinafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS :
SECTION 1. That the portion of Jasper Street hereinafter
described be and the same is hereby closed and abandoned, to-wit:
Being a portion of Jasper Street out
of Sibley Taylor Second Addition to the City
of Wichita Falls, said portion being bounded
on the west by Lots 8 & 9, Block 22 of the
Sibley Taylor Second Addition, on the north
by City of Wichita Falls property, on the
east by Lot 8, Block 23 of said addition,
and on the south by Bonds Street, said por-
tion of Jasper Street being more particularly
described as follows:
BEGINNING at the southeast corner of
Lot 9, Block 22 Sibley Taylor Second Addition;
THENCE N34°34 'E, 80 .0 feet along the
easterly lines of Lots 8 and 9, Block 22 of
said addition;

THENCE S55 26'E, 50.0 feet;
THENCE S34 0 34'E, 33. 1 feet to Bonds Street;
THENCE S81°26 'W, 68. 6 feet to the place
of beginning and containing 2, 828 square feet of
land.
SECTION 2 . The City of Wichita Falls, Texas, hereby re-
serves an easement in the above land for the purpose of laying
and maintaining all kinds and character of utility lines, in-

cluding water, gas, electric, telephone, telegraph and power
lines and sanitary and storm sewers.
