AN ORDINANCE DETERMINING THE NECESSITY FOR THE ORDERING
AND PROVIDING FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF PORTIONS OF AVENUES,
STREETS, AND PUBLIC PLACES IN THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, DESIGNATED AS THE 1968 ASSESSMENT PAVING PROGRAM,
DIRECTING THE CITY ENGINEER TO PREPARE PLANS AND SPECIFI-
CATIONS THEREFOR AND PROVIDING SUNDRY OTHER MATTERS INCIDENT
THERETO.
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas
is of the opinion that the hereinafter mentioned portions of avenues,str_eets,
and public places in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas should be improved;
THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, THAT:

It is hereby determined that it is necessary that the following
portions of avenues , streets and public places in the City of Wichita Falls,
Texas be improved , to-wit:
COLORADO STREET: From the north property line East Scott
Street to the south property line of

to existing pavement at railroad

II.
The City Engineer is hereby ordered and directed to prepare Plans
and Specifications for the improvement of the hereinabove described portions
of avenues,, streets and public places as soon as practicable and to present same
to the Board of Aldermen.
In this connection, the City Engineer may provide in the aforemention-
ed Plans and Specifications alternate types of improvements to be constructed
on all or a part of the above described portions of avenues,, streets and public
places if he deems it advisable.
III.
This ordinance shall take effect and be in force and effect immedi-
ately from and after its passage.
