WHEREAS, the City National Bank of Wichita Falls, Texas, now has pledged to
the City of Wichita Falls $1,000,000 U. S, Treasury three and seven-eighths per
cent (3 7/8%) Notes due August 13, 1965, covered under First National Bank of
Dallas, Trust Receipt A-55613 in a total amount of $3,000,000; and,
WHEREAS, the said City National Bank has requested release of $1,000,000 of
the above mentioned securities from this said Trust Receipt, Upon release of
the $1,000,000 the bank will have pledged to the City a total of $6,951,000 while
the City as of the close of business on August 21, 1964, had in all counts
6,625,226074. This will leave an excess of over $300,000,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS: that the City Clerk of the City of Wichita Falls, be, and
he is hereby authorized to allow the withdrawal of $1,000,000 from trust receipt
A-55613 held by the First National Bank of Dallas,
