WHEREAS, City National Bank in Wichita Falls, Texas, now has pledged
to the City of Wichita Falls $258,000 U. S. Treasury Notes due November
15m 1964, covered by Trust Receipts of the First National Bank, Dallas,
Texas, Number A57769; $1,000 ,000 U. S. Treasury Bonds due May 15, 1966,
covered by Trust Receipts of the First National Bank in Dallas, Texas,
Numbers A49734 and A32997 ; and $1,000,000 U. S. Treasury Notes due May
15, 1965, covered by Trust Receipt of the First National Bank in Dallas,
Texas, Number A54545; and,
WHEREAS, the said City National Bank has requested the release of all
of the above securities and has agreed to substitute in lieu thereof
285,000 City of Wichita Falls Airport Revenue Bonds and $100,000 City
of Wichita Falls 3-1/4% General Obligation Bonds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS: That the City Clerk of the City of Wichita Falls
be, and he is hereby authorized to release First National Bank in Dallas,
Texas, Trust Receipts Numbers A57769, A49734, A32997 and A54545, and to
accept in lieu thereof new Trust Receipts from the First National Bank
in Dallas, Texas, in the amount of $385,000.
