Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, c nvened in
Meeting, at the regular meeting place, with the following members present,
to -wit:

Roy V. Clayton,
Aldermen,
W. B. Hicks, City Clerk,

with the following absent : L -211 c ,
constituting a quorum, at which time the following proceedings were had:
Alderman introduced a resolution and moved

that it be adopted. The motion was seconded by Alderman
The motion carrying with it the adoption of the resolution prevailed by
the following vote:
YEAS: Aldermen Wallander, Burross, ;?Q0f', Witcher, Wade and
Claytor and Mayor Gavin.
NAYS: None.
The resolution as adopted is as follows:
RESOLUTION NO. �° Ll
CALVING CITY OF WICHITA FALLS (TEXAS) SEWER REVENUE
BONDS,, SERIES 19+9 FOR REDEMPTION ON DECEMBER 1, 1964.
WHEREASP the following bonds of said City are presently
outstanding:
City of Wichita Falls- (Texas) Sewer Revenue Bonds,
Series 19+9, dated December 1, 1949, Bonds Numbers
451 through 900, in the denomination of $1.,000 each,
aggregating $450,000 in principal amount, maturing
serially December 1, 1965 through December 1, 1974,
bearing interest at the rate of 2- 3 /4,o' per annum; and
WHEREAS, said bonds are subject to redemption prior to maturity
on December 1, 1964, at the option of said City, and said City has determined
to exercise said option.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDER14EV OF THE CI'T'Y OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
1. That the bonds described in the preamble hereof are hereby
called for redemption, and shall be redeemed, prior to maturity, on December
1, 196+1 at the Mercantile National Bank at Dallas, Dallas, Texas.
2. That funds sufficient to pay the par or principal amount of
said bonds, and accrued interest thereon to said date fixed for redemption,
shall be placed in the Mercantile National Bank at Dallas, Dallas, Texas.
3. That an appropriate written Notice of Redemption of said
shall be (a) mailed to the said place of redemption, (b) mailed to the Harris
Trust and Savings Bank, Chicago, Illinois, (c) Published once in a financial
publication in the City of Chicago, Illinois, and (d) published once in The
Wichita Falls Record News, Wichita Falls, Texas, all not less than 30 days
prior to said date fixed for redemption.
