RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION CANVASSING RETURNS OF THE MUNICIPAL
ELECTION HELD IN THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS,
APRIL 2, 1963, FOR THE PURPOSE OF ETFCTING ALDERMEN
FOR POSITIONS NO. 1, NO. 2 AND NO. 3.
WHEREAS, at a regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen of
the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, held in the Memorial Auditorium
Building on the 8th day of April, A,D. 1963, at which time a
quorum was present, came on to be considered the returns of the
Municipal election held on the 2nd day pf April, A.D. 1963, for
the purpose mf electing Aldermen for Positions No. 1, No. 2 and
No. 3; and
WHEREAS, after canvassing the returns of said election it
was found to be duly and legally held 'zn all respects, and there
were cast at said election y j9i) votes for the election of
the three Aldermen; and that
FOR ALDERMAN, POSITION 1:

AND, it appearing that J. ginston Viallander received the
greatest number of votes cast at said election for Alderman, Position
1; Dr. D. Clifford Burross received the greatest number of votes
cast ,at said election for Alderman, Position 2; that 0. D.
McBride received the greatest number of votes cast at said elec-
tion for Alderman, Position 3;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, Try S, that J. Winston Wallander,
Dr. D. C1iffrd Burrosw and 0. D. McBride were duly and legally
elected Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls„ Texas, at said
election, and that said election was in all respects legally held
in sccordance with the laws of the State of Texas and the Char.,
ter and Ordinances of the City of Wichita Fella.
