WHEREAS, H. B. 13, as amended in committee , is
scheduled for floor consideration in the Texas House
of Representatives on March 18, 1963; and,
WHEREAS, the House Committee amendment to H. B.
13 is extremely detrimental to Texas cities , including
the City of Wichita Falls , for the reasons that it
would impede their orderly growth, allow substandard
areas to be built up around their boundaries, and
possibly interfere with their financial structures
and bond issues.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of
Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls , Texas:
That this Board of Aldermen go on record as opposing
House Committee Amendment to H. B. 13, and direct that
copies of this resolution be furnished to our represen-
tatives in the Texas House of Representatives.

1963.
