WHEREAS, the City National Bank in Wichita Falls ,
Texas , now has pledged to the City of Wichita Falls, Texas,
in trust in the First National Bank in Dallas, Texas, Nine
Hundred Thousand Dollars ($900,000. 00) U. S. Treasury two
and one-half per cent (22%) Bonds due August 15, 1963, as
evidenced by trust receipt number A 42651.
WHEREAS, the City National Bank in Wichita Falls,
Texas, has requested release of the above securities, and
has agreed to substitute in lieu therefor, Nine Hundred
Thousand Dollars ($900,000.00) U. S. three and five-eighths
per cent (3 5/8%) Treasury Notes, Series B 1967 , to be
dated March 15, 1963, and due February 15, 1967, to secure
deposits of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
ALDERMEN ')F THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS;
THAT the City Clerk of the City of Wichita Falls,
Texas, be and he is hereby authorized to release First
National Bank in Dallas, Texas, Receipts A 42651, as above
described, in the amount of Nine Hundred Thousand Dollars
900,000.00) , and accept in lieu thereof new receipts
from the First National Bank in Dallas, Texas , in the
amount of Nine Hundred Thousand Dollars ($900,000. 00) .
