RESOLUTION NO. 500
lherea , the City of Waco has challenged the City of
Wichita Fails for the Texas Snirited City Award, which is pre-
sented to the city which does the best job in expanding and
building its Chamber of Commerce.
Whereas, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita
Falls recognizes the many benefits derived by the city from a
strong and active Chamber of Commerce.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
That the Board of Aldermen heartily endorse this member-
ship campaign of the Wichita Falls Chamber of Commerce, and urge
the citizens of the city to participate in this campaign so that
our city shall triumph over Waco in this competition.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 12th day of November, 1962.
