SOLUTION DETERMINING TEE NECESSITY FOR AND CUDERING AND PROVIDING
FOR TR IMPROVEMENT OF A PORTION OF SIBLEY AVENUE , GRANDVIEW EAST
AND PORTIONS OF SUNDRY OTHER STREETS AND PUBLIC PLACES IN THE CITY
OF IIICHITA FALLS , TEXAS , DIRECTING TUE CITY ENGINEER TO PREPARE
PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS THEREFOR AND PROVIDING SUNDRY OT 17E3 MATTERS
INCIDENT THERETO.
ITEREAS , the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls,
Texas is of the opinion that the hereinafter mentioned portions of
avenue, streets and public places in the City of Wichita Falls,
Texas should be improved; THEREFORE ,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS , TEXAS , THAT:
I.
It is hereby determined that it is necessary that the following
portions of avenue, streets and public places in the City of Wichita
Falls, Texas be improved, to-wit:
SIBLEY AVENUE: From the east property line of Broad Avenue
to the east property line of Bluff Street, to be known and desig-
nated as Unit No. 1;
GRANDVIEW EAST: From the south property line of the U.S . High-
way 287 Expressway to the South property line of Edgehill, to be
known and designated as Unit No. 2;
GRANDVIEI SOUTH: From the south property line of Edgehill at
its east end to the south property line of Edgehill at its west end,
to be known and designated as Unit No. 3;
GRANDVIE"T ;TEST: From the north property line of Longview to
the south property line of Edgehill, to be known and designated as
Unit No. 4;
LONGVIEW STREET: From the east property line of Grandview 'Test
to the west property line of Grandview East, to be known and desig-
nated as Unit No. 5;
EDGEEILL STREET: From the east property line of Grandview West
to the west property line of Grandview east, to be known and desig-
nated as Unit No. 6;
II .
The City Engineer is hereby ordered and directed to prepare
Plans and Specifications for the improvement of the hereinabove
described portions of avenue, streets and public places as soon
as practicable and to present same to the Board of Aldermen.
In this connection, the City Engineer may provide in the
aforementioned Plans and Specifications alternate types of improve-
ments to be constructed on all or a part of the above described
portions of avenue , streets and public places if he deems it advisabl
III.
This resolution shall take effect and :pe in force and effect
immediately from and after its passage.
