WHEREAS, the City National Bank of Wichita Falls, Texas,
has deposited with the First National Bank of Dallas, $5,001,500.00
in various Government Securities to secure the deposit of the City
of Wichita Falls with the City National Bank in Wichita Falls of
$3,772,017.54., and
WHEREAS, the securities for the said deposit of the City
of Wichita Falls is more than adequate, the City National Bank has
requested. the release of certain of those securities to wit:
$251,000.00 U. S. Treasury 3 3/4% note, series C -1962
due November 15, 1962, Receipt No. A 11835; and
$400,000.00 U. S. Treasury 3% bonds of February 15,
1964, Receipt No. A 1892,
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls can release the above
securities as a pledge on its deposits and still have adequate
securities for its deposit with the City National Bank of Wichita Falls
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
THAT, the First National Bank in Dallas has authority to
release the following securities:
251;000.00 U. S. Treasury 3 3A -% note, series 0-1962,
due November 15, 1962, Receipt No. A 11835; and
$4.00,000.00 U. S. Treasury 3% bonds of February 15,
1964, Receipt No. A 1892;
to the City National Bank in Wichita Falls, Texas.
