WHEREAS, the City National Bank in Wichita Falls, Texas, has
deposited in trust with the First National Bank in Dallas the sum of
$200,000.00 U. S. Treasury Notes, 2 5/8,%, Due 2- 15 -63, Recei t No.
1176; and the sum of $1 900,000.00 U. S. Treasury Bonds, 2zo, due
8- 15 -63, receipt No. A2691, and
WHEREAS, the City National Bank in Wichita Falls, has
requested release of the above described U. S. Treasury Notes, Receipt
No. 1176; and the above described U. S. Treasury Bonds Receipt No.
A2891, and
WHEREAS, the City National Bank in Wichita Falls, Texas,
agrees to substitute in lieu thereof $200,000.00 of U. S. Treasury
Bonds, 3 5/8 %, due November, 1967; and $1,000,000.00 of U. S. Treasury
3 3/8% Bonds of 1966.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
THAT, The City Clerk of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas,
be and he is hereby authorized to accept as security for the account
of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, $200,000.00 U. S. Treasury Bonds
3 5/8 %, due November, 1967; and $1,000,000.00 of U. S. Treasury 3 3/8%
Bonds of 1966; and surrender the above described $200,000.00 U. S.
Treasury Notes, 2 5/8 %, due 2- 15 -63, Receipt No. 1176, and $1,900,000.00
U. S. Treasury 21% Bonds of 8- 15 -63, Receipt No. A2891 now on deposit
with the First National Bank in Dallas, Texas.
