AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE CITY LIMITS OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, BY ANNEXING
CERTAIN LANDS ADJACENT TO THE SOUTHEASTERN
TERRITORIAL LIMITS OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, WHICH LANDS ARE DESCRIBED IN
THIS ORDINANCE (TEXCOLOR LAB AND EXPRESSWAY
287 RIGHT OF WAY; EXPRESSWAY 287 AND EXPRESSWAY
281 RIGHT OF WAY AND LANDS NORTH AND WEST OF
EXPRESSWAY; EXPRESSWAY 281 AND LOCH LOMOND SUB-
DIVISION AREA) .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS :
SECTION 1. That the following tracts of land located
in Wichita County, Texas, be and the same are hereby ordered
to be annexed and to be included within the corporate limits
of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, and the corporate limits
be extended so as to include said tracts of land in Wichita
County, Texas, the same being more particularly described as
follows :
TRACT I
(Texcolor Lab & Expressway pressway 287 R.O.W.)
BEGINNING at a point in the East line of
Tract I, Unit 2 Expressway East Industrial
District; said point being in the present city
limit line as described by Ordinance No. 2331;
said point also being N. O1°07 ' 26" E. , 235.80 .
feet from the Southeast corner of said Tract I,
Unit 2 Expressway East Industrial District;
THENCE N. 88052 ' 34" E. , 298. 68 feet to a
point for a corner;

SECTION 2 . In conformity with Section 3a of the Charter
of the City of Wichita Falls , Texas, this ordinance is on the
23rd day of July, 1968, introduced and the City Clerk is directed
to publish said ordinance one time in a newspaper of general
circulation published in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, and
seven days thereafter this ordinance may be finally acted upon.
This ordinance having been introduced on the 23rd day
of July, 1968, and having been published in a newspaper of general
circulation in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, to-wit, the
Wichita Falls Record News, one time, to-wit, on the ,
day of , 1968, and seven days after such
publication has elapsed, this ordinance shall be finally passed
